Matthew 8:23-26
And when He got into the boat, His disciples followed Him. A gale arose on the lake, so great that the boat was being swamped by the waves; but He was asleep. And they went and woke Him up, saying, ‘Lord, save us! We are perishing!’ And He said to them, ‘Why are you afraid, you of little faith?’ Then He got up and rebuked the winds and the sea; and there was a dead calm.
My Jesus, as long as You are in the boat of my life I need not fear no matter how difficult my circumstances or the troubles that assail. It does not matter even if it seems You are asleep as long as Your Presence is there within me for I know that at any time You can command and quell all the disturbances in my life. I trust You and I thank You Jesus.
