You have the LORD for your refuge; you have made the Most High your stronghold. No evil shall befall you, no affliction come near your tent. For God commands the angels to guard you in all your ways. With their hands they shall support you, lest you strike your foot against a stone. You shall tread upon the asp and the viper, trample the lion and the dragon. Whoever clings to me I will deliver; whoever knows my name I will set on high. All who call upon me I will answer; I will be with them in distress; I will deliver them and give them honor. With length of days I will satisfy them and show them my saving power.

I count the Son of the Most High God my Friend, my Beloved, my Refuge, my Shelter and my God. If God be for me who can be against me. I have You my Beloved and in having you I have all things - You are my Shepherd there is nothing I shall want.

You hold me to Yourself as safely as a mother who wraps her arms around her baby and holds it close to her breast. She would die before she would permit any harm to come to her child and so too my Beloved, You died in order that I might live. Thank You.

Blessed be the Lord, God our Saviour, who daily bears our burdens. Ours is a God who saves; our Lord lets us escape from death.

What a perfect description of Jesus. Thank You Beloved, truly You are a God who saves. You bear my burdens. You have let me escape from death to sin and the loss of eternal life.

Thank You Lord for wisdom with which You continue to endow me. Thank You for showing me that true love requires sacrifice and love gladly gives up for the one who is loved. You have showm me the way my Beloved grant that I may walk in it.

This awesome God of love, life and power destined from all eternity that He would create me in order that I might know Him in Christ, love Him in Christ, be redeemed by Him in Christ - have knowledge of Him through Christ in the power of the Spirit and enjoy life with Him here on earth and have the fulness of life with Him in heaven. Jeremiah 31:16-18, 20

Yahweh says this to her: "Weep no more and wipe the tears of your eyes; your sorrow will have redress. They will come back from the enemy's land. There is hope for your descendants; your children will return to their own borders.

My Beloved, I want to fast on Saturdays for my children especially and for the spiritual growth of our family. Accept my fast Lord and hear and answer me, Amen.

My Beloved, once again You fill me with hope. I know that You love, even more the people I love and pray for daily. Thank You for assuring me that in the new life I live in You the mistakes of the past have no place.

Psalm 28:1-2, 6-8

To You O Lord, I call; my Rock, be not deaf to me. Hear my cry for mercy as I call to You for help as I lift up my hands towards Your innermost sanctuary. Blessed be the Lord! He has heard my cry for help. The Lord is my strength, my shield, my heart was sure of Him I have been helped and my heart exults, with my song, I give Him thanks. The Lord is the strength of His people, the saving refuge of His anointed.

Beloved, do we all look at the past with regret and wish we had done things differently? You word is clear though about looking back - it makes us immobile and unworthy of working for the Kingdom. Help me Lord!

Judith 16:13-15

Let your every creature serve you; for you spoke, and they were made, You sent forth your spirit, and they were created; no one can resist your word. I will sing to my God a new song. Lord, You are great and strong, invincible.

Great and glorious God, I love You, I thank You for Your mercy. Thank You for teaching me that great as Your love is and everlasting Your mercy - You are also a just God and that we are purified by a Father who loves us without end and who is not afraid to make the hard decisions for our good.

Psalm 92:14-16

Planted in the house of the Lord, they will prosper in the courts of our God. In old age they will still bear fruit, they stay fresh and green to proclaim that the Lord is upright. "He is my Rock," they say, "He never fails!"

Beloved Jesus, thank You for bringing me back home safely. Thank You that I am feeling much better today. Watch over my family back home. Heal my mother-in-law from her backache. Grant us all wisdom and the fear of the Lord so we may seek to please You always.

O God, you are my God-- for you I long! For you my body yearns; for you my soul thirsts, Like a land parched, lifeless, and without water. So I look to you in the sanctuary to see your power and glory. For your love is better than life; my lips offer you worship! Beloved, this psalm expresses so beautifully how I long for You. Yes, my God, it is You I seek, my body longs for You and my soul thirsts for You. May I seek to praise and glorify You every moment of my life with every breath. I have come to the end of my holiday. You have been with me through eery difficulty, every doubt and You have enabled me to triumph in the end. Thank You.

Psalm 116:1-9, 12-14

I love the LORD, who listened to my voice in supplication, who turned an ear to me on the day I called. I was caught by the cords of death; the snares of Sheol had seized me; I felt agony and dread. Then I called on the name of the LORD, "O LORD, save my life!" Gracious is the LORD and just; yes, our God is merciful. The LORD protects the simple; I was helpless, but God saved me. Return, my soul, to your rest; the LORD has been good to you. For my soul has been freed from death, my eyes from tears, my feet from stumbling. I shall walk before the LORD in the land of the living.

How can I repay the LORD for all the good done for me? I will raise the cup of salvation and call on the name of the LORD. I will pay my vows to the LORD in the presence of all his people.

My Beloved, thank You for Your graciousness in helping me get a seat for Danny. I thank you for not letting me get entangled in the snares of trouble. Thank You Jesus.

Jesus felt the pain of being humiliated but not the resentment. I had to swallow my own resentment when I faced a little humiliation, in order to imitate Him.

Proverbs 3:5-6
Trust in Yahweh with all Your heart; do not rely on our own insight. Let His Presence pervade all your ways and He will protect your foot from the snare.
