Just as gold is tested and purifed in fire so do You test Your people in the fire of trials, troubles and difficulties in order to make us firmer in faith and stronger in hope. As You test and try me Beloved, may I endure with the help of Your grace.

My Beloved, I said if You took me to the edge of the pit, I hope my faith will not fail or falter. I believe, You have led me there my Lord and my heart trembles within me. My Beloved Jesus, grant that I may always live in Your Presence. What a beautiful blessing this is O Lord. Thank You for blessing me. Keep my gaze fixed on You. Keep my heart fused between Your own Sacred Heart and the Immaculate Heart of Mary. Let me love You Lord with every fibre of my being, with every heart beat and pulse beat. I want to be all Yours now and forever.

A little with righteousness is better than abundance with wickedness. It is better to give alms than to store up gold; for almsgiving saves one from death and expiates every sin. My Beloved, You remind me in these verses to thank God and give Him all the glory for the marvellous things He has done and is doing for me. You also remind me to do good, to fast and to give alms and to live a just life.

Tobit 8:15-16

Then Raguel praised the God of heaven in these words: "Blessed are you, O God, with every holy and pure blessing! Let all your chosen ones praise you; let them bless you forever!
